that calls us into Union?

Into this unfolding

and embrace?

Like a honeybee and a flower

we are not choosing 

the pattern 

to weave.

For Love has already chosen us

to simply 

carry

the thread.

If ever you feel abandoned

by the flesh 

of this 

world,

Observe the way

that Spring calls 

the sap

to rise.

Be rooted

and 

steady in 

yourself.

And know 

that you 

too

are made

Through the presence

and the absence

of 

light.

like the moonlight is 

to the sea.

When you rise, Sister,

the great thread pulls

and a wave 

ebbs over me.

union.

For it is carried

unseen

Settling 

deep 

and rising to the surface

with the plows return.

The language and chains.

The violence and shame,

reform their shape

but the plan hasn't changed.

To know

where we are,

we must know 

from where we have come.

To see with more 

than just our eyes,

the patterns

and how they are repeating.
