on the rose-sweet breath

of all our breathing

together.

Every leaf

Light into life,

Earth

atmosphere.

Exchanging.

into your still water,

Breathe

and follow just one 

of those tiny waves

Growing 

wider

from the center.

Please, dear heart,

please do not let

too much

Ever take you

from being

present.

Too much time

between the lines

had learned me out

from loving.

The road became a straight road,

with wrong

and right

direction,

And the cautions 

of a false protector

warning me

not to stray.

But like a river

to the sea, the

I in I

meanders,

Conveying the memory of being

always

and all together

free.

In the light of sweet summer

I bend

and plant 

a seed;

A wildseed,

reminding me

not 

to be afraid.

As long 

as there 

are gardens

the children will be fed

And the union held

that holds

us each

When walls get built around you

unfold

and find the light

For that which seeks

to smother us

The walls between us

we have not built,

by conquest

and survive through guilt.

So without distraction,

from common ground,

may we climb together

and in each 

be found.
