Breathe

The void

within

that betrayal leaves

Need not become

a hiding place

for sorrow.

If we long for light

we must learn to move

through darkness.

To breathe through it.

And to trust

this breath,

As we trust that 

Mother Earth

will continue spinning,

Lifting dawn

from out

the night.
