Duality constructed power,

and power

the prison 

of whiteness.

Before these walls 

were built,

the wind moved freely 

between our branches,

And we sang, 

and blossomed 

and died together

into earth.

But a promise 

was made

and division 

then instilled,

Lives

measured

and forests 

cut down by silence.

May those who have 

been gifted 

realize too 

what has been lost.

For without light 

a seed 

will never 

grow.

Know truth 

to be this light.

And the seed to be 

everyone's 

liberation.
