one branch

or spore 

the same as any other.

For every seed

there is a universe

unfolding

into Spring.

I am

not

man,

but human.

Earth,

water

and light

taking precious 

form.

It is not hope that guides the flock.

No one

and only

leader.

But the coherence of many hearts

following their truth

toward

home.

In the darkness

I learn 

to see again.

To pay 

attention.

To trust.

Through 

the quiet

and the cold

My plans forgive

to the turning

of earth,

And the seeds within

begin

to stir,

Like beautiful dreams,

awaking into

spring.

Like the tiny stones

who long ago 

committed 

to a star

May we awake

to the precious world

that each

conveys within

And love our circles wider

so the light

can hold all 

near.

In the infinite

and proximate

darkness,

Earth forgives

atmosphere

And bodies

the wind.

the flame within

a light

For others

In a circle

made whole

through darkness.

to the stars.

becomes sugar

in a leaf

And the deep knowing

that Love

near

Unfolds

like a

forest

in spring.

stars,

Within 

the ever-widening

song.
