Evergreen haiku

 -------Evergreen haiku-------

Back

in evergreen

Where wind sings

the ocean through

Cedar bows

and fir.

-------

River

 -------River-------

Stray,

youngblood,

from the beaten path

And let your way

be fluid.

Meander stones,

hop banks

and borders,

Flood

the famished valleys.

Take back what is yours,

your mind

your body

And ride it

to the Sea.

Community haiku

 -------Community haiku-------

Do not

be afraid

Of this world

falling

apart.

Listen

to the birds

To springtime

Telling us,

"Believe

In yourselves."

-------

What If

 -------What If-------

A child's eyes

see clearly

The Truth

before they're hidden

By fear

it might

Incite

a question

And break

the world wide open.

-------

Joyful Resistance

 -------Joyful Resistance-------

The war machine

has failed

to take

The People

from the Land

Time and again

It is time

again

For the fist

to raise

in joy.

A Gentle Nudge haiku

 -------A Gentle Nudge haiku-------

Springtime

birds return

In harmony

with Imbolc

Singing us

awake.

-------

Unity haiku

 -------Unity haiku-------

The big We

Progress

together.

Free the Land.
