When it is quiet

the whole world can be heard

singing.

Each being.

Each space 

between the notes.

Is helping create

this beautiful

music.

In the moment just before sleep

the mind stops working

and becomes a doorway

between heaven and earth.

"Leave your things out there,"

a lovely voice calls.

"Come in.

Come in and rest."

What is there on the other side

is not for knowing.

What dreams emerge

is for the stars to decide.

Forgiveness 

like this

opens the door 

to communion,

and somewhere, 

in this Great Forest,

a small, green leaf 

trustingly unfolds.

Slowly

a bud unfolds 

to leaf

and the forest fills

with flower smells

and color.

"All of a sudden!"

you might say, 

about the Spring.

But Rumi says, "Patience 

with small details

makes perfect a large work..."

Let go of thinking

and all your senses

will disappear 

into one,

ever-changing 

season.

Making love in this emptiness

shows us how 

to truly see.

This, is what the World is doing

right now

before our eyes.

a wildflower dances 

in the light 

of its mothers eyes.

Behind 

every cloud,

within 

each drop of rain,

The great star reflects

and a voice

like soul music

shows the children home.

A bright, orange sky

turns to darkness

and in this darkness

we find each other

For struggle holds its own kind 

of light and magic.

New stars are born. 

A friendship unfolds 

like a seed out of winter

And we grow.

As heartbreaks 

the shell

wide open.
