Too much time

between the lines

had learned me out

from loving.

The road became a straight road,

with wrong

and right

direction,

And the cautions 

of a false protector

warning me

not to stray.

But like a river

to the sea, the

I in I

meanders,

Conveying the memory of being

always

and all together

free.

In the light of sweet summer

I bend

and plant 

a seed;

A wildseed,

reminding me

not 

to be afraid.

As long 

as there 

are gardens

the children will be fed

And the union held

that holds

us each 

together

land.
