For every plant

Is a gift from the Creator.

of a storm 

unrolling

Grey skies re-

form 

into clouds

And darkness 

pulls 

back 

To the sun

there

forever shining.

With patience

trust,

as the Heron trusts

Their wings

on the breath

of Spring,

That knowing well

the fears

we carry

Will help us

to let them

go.

reminds me

that death

is not an ending

But a giving 

forward

of the light we each

have gathered.

All around

small 

green leaves 

are rising

Up

from those who gave

themselves

to Autumn.

with revolution

The Earth around the Sun

The People

up through empire

Slow but unstoppable

Not unlike the 

Spring

Or the flowers that rise
