is me.

Beyond the image,

within the name,

remains the truth

that we are all

the same.

in leaf

and wing

rise together

light

of Spring.

already

across the Earth.

Settling 

deep 

and rising to the surface

with the plows return.

The language and chains.

The violence and shame,

reform their shape

but the plan hasn't changed.

To know

where we are,

we must know 

from where we have come.

To see with more 

than just our eyes,

the patterns

and how they are repeating.
