-------Love Soil-------
A
seed of resentment
can
quickly become
A
garden
full
of
weeds
If
not tended
with
intention
to
cultivate
The
love soil
underneath.

-------Bend and Breathe-------
When fear
moves through my
body
like a storm
I stop where I
can
and listen to the
wind.
"Bend
and
breathe"
my branches,
Swaying,
whisper
"And let our
leaves
make music
with wind."
-------
-------Toward the Ocean-------
No
matter another's effort
to
undermine
our
direction
The
river within us
will
still meander,
Fork
and fall
but
never straighten
As
we move
toward
the
ocean.
-------
-------Waken the Green-------
In prelude
to the storm
the wind comes warm
And our shadows
disappear.
Then with a kiss
like thunder
the rains begin
And waken the green
from slumber.
-------
-------Goodnight, Moon-------
Tonight
the
peeper frogs are singing
Goodnight,
Moon
Hello,
glorious Spring.
Thank
you,
I
sing along with them
Sweet
Moon
and
Spring
Thank
you.
-------
-------Equinox-------
Patience is a
temperament
akin to middle Spring
When nighttime meets
the length of day
And the tender
green
of possibilities
Emerges slowly
From the dark,
waking Earth.
-------
-------Roundness of Time-------
While
mulching
with
hay
I
remember the grasses
And
their meadows
of
golden
Autumn.
There
is
a
slowness
in
Spring
Of
a precious kind
That
helps
remember
the
roundness of time.
As
the meadows
return
To
gold in Autumn
And
their grasses
dry
to
hay.
